A wiring component comprises an array of multiple wires 6; two or more layers 4, 5 of a hardened fibre and filler compound such as aramid fibre sandwiching said wires; the areas adjacent the wires comprises a filler which immobilises the wires relative to said layers; Whereby the wires protrude the fibre/filler layers for one or more connectors 18, 19 to be connected thereto. Preferably a heat vacuum oven is used to disperse the filler of the fibre and filler compound between the wires. Preferably the fibre in the layers is woven and the wires comprise copper sheathed with at least one sheath which creates a bond between the wires and layers. |
