<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a sock or glove with finger bags whose finger bags are always overlapped in finger crotches, when knitted up. <P>SOLUTION: This method for knitting the sock or glove with finger bags whose adjacent finger bags are always overlapped at the positions of the finger crotches, by a flat knitting machine, includes joining two adjacent cylindrical portions at a finger crotch-forming position to form a new cylindrical portion in a state disposing a boundary portion on the same sides of knitting directions in the adjacent two cylindrical portions in one of front and rear needle beds and disposing the remaining boundary portion in the other needle bed, overlapping joined stitches for joining the stitches of the finger crotch portions overlapping the two cylindrical portions on stitches close in the knitting width direction of the stitches to form joints, forming stitches continued to the joints, and selecting stitches placed at positions in mutually diagonal directions across the finger crotch portion as stitches close in knitting width direction overlapped on the joined stitches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
