PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image shift caused by variable power at low cost. SOLUTION: A chart is photographed by a digital camera while changing focal length of a photographic lens in three stages. The shift amount of each photographed image of a middle focal length and a maximum wide angel focal length is digitized with a photographed image of a chart photographed at a maximum telescope focal length as reference, and applied voltage to a VCM for driving a camera shake correction lens corresponding to the shift amount is stored in a flash memory. When an angular velocity sensor does not detect camera shake, a CPU applies voltage corresponding to the focal length of the photographic lens to the VCM with reference to the flash memory. Since a camera shake correction lens is moved to eliminate shift of a through image, the through image is displayed without being shifted even if a zoom operation button is operated to perform variable power.
