A city rail transit vehicle, comprising a vehicle body (1); a bottom portion of the vehicle body (1) is installed with a plurality of rubber drive wheels (2) and steel guide wheels (3); the plurality of rubber drive wheels (2) and steel guide wheels (3) are arranged along a length direction of the vehicle body; and the vehicle body (1) is provided with a first drive device thereon for driving the steel guide wheels (3) to move up and down along a height direction of the vehicle body (1). Owing to the steel guide wheels under the vehicle body, which may be adjusted up and down, the city rail transit vehicle of the present invention can be operated on a railway network or automobile road network, thus providing multiple usages with a single vehicle, and reducing construction cost.
