The invention relates, on the one hand, to a process for packaging bitumen, characterized in that the bitumen (B) is heated between 130°C and 150°C in order to thin it, and it is made to flow through a perforated rotatable drum (11) so as to form droplets (g) of hot bitumen that come, via gravity, into contact with a belt (2) maintained at a temperature between 8°C and 10°C on which said droplets solidify, forming pellets (P) which are collected and loaded into flexible containers (3) via an opening (30), then said containers are closed by leaktight sealing of their opening and, on the other hand, to a packaging for bitumen and also to an appropriate use for the storage and transport thereof. |
