A forceps (10) includes a pair of jaw members (42, 44), a drive tube (34) coupled to the pair of jaw members (42, 44), and a spring assembly (50) positioned proximal to the drive tube (34). The drive tube (34) is movable to pivot one or both of the pair of jaw members (42, 44) between spaced-apart and approximated positions.
