PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backrest to the back frame of which a back plate is attached so as to increase the strength and be improved in the sense of beauty.SOLUTION: A back frame 5 includes a side frame 8, an upper frame 9 and a lower frame 10. The side frame 8 has a vertically long groove 20 and opens forward. A back plate 6 includes a side member 16, an upper member 17 and a lower member 18. The side member 16 is formed into a groove shape open backward. A first engagement pawl 30 is formed on the vertically long groove 20 of the side frame 8, and a second engagement pawl 31 is formed to the side member 16 of the back plate 6. The engagement pawls 30, 31 are arranged on the vertically long groove 20, and therefore the side member 16 can be stacked on the side frame 8 to improve the sense of beauty even though the backrest is assembled with a simple fitting system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
