1. A method of estimating a value of a physiological parameter for a subject at a selected metabolic state, the method comprising:
obtaining, via a device located a distance from the subject, a value of the physiological parameter of the subject at a time-of-day, wherein the device comprises a sensor that detects and/or measures physiological information from the subject; and estimating the value of the physiological parameter for the subject at the selected metabolic state by applying a time-dependent relationship function to the obtained physiological parameter value via at least one processor, wherein the selected metabolic state is different from a current metabolic state of the subject.
