Ground-contact-end sides of lug grooves (16) are formed such that the groove depth becomes shallower from the tire equatorial plane side to the ground-contact ends. The average inclination angle (θ1) formed between the tread surface (12A) and the groove bottoms (16B) is set so as to be not more than 5˚. As a result, smooth drainage in the vicinity of the ground-contact ends is achieved, and the rigidity of land portions in the vicinity of the ground-contact ends is ensured. Accordingly, both high wet performance and high dry performance can be achieved. |
