A composite which is composed of a combination of a cured rubber member having been cured with a radical generator and a resin member comprising a thermoplastic resin which contains a hydrogen atom or a sulfur atom having an orbital interaction energy coefficient (S) represented by the following formula (1) of 0.006 or more in an total amount of at least two atoms in one molecule thereof on average. (1) The composite provides, in a wide range of the combination of a resin and a rubber, a composite wherein the resin and the rubber are joined directly and strongly with each other without the aid of an adhesive.
