PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator pedal operating device capable of easily and efficiently installing an accelerator switch in a narrow space part of an operator cab together with a link mechanism, and completely preventing the accelerator switch from obstructing the operation of the accelerator pedal. SOLUTION: The accelerator pedal operating device comprises a pedal lever 12 to be turned according to the step-in of an accelerator pedal 2, a link mechanism 8 of a unit structure having an inversion lever 11 to be turned interlockingly with the pedal lever 12, an accelerator stroke sensor 7 to regulate the fuel injection of an engine by detecting the turning stroke of the inversion lever 11, and an accelerator switch 28 which is integrally assembled to the link mechanism 8 to detect presence/absence of the step-in of the accelerator pedal 2 interlockingly with the pedal lever 12. An operation unit 18 is provided on the pedal lever 12 on the side opposite to the lever 17 with the accelerator pedal 2 engaged therewith, and the accelerator switch 28 is operated via the operation unit 18.
