PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional (3D) shape processing apparatus which enables a sharpened part to be visually easily discriminated by highlighting the intersection of two planes placed in the same 3D coordinate space when an angle of the two planes is equal with or smaller than a designated angle. SOLUTION: When displaying a 3D shape model, side information of the designated 3D shape model is extracted from a shape data storage means for storing shape data of 3D shape models, the shape data storage means is referenced for the extracted side information to calculate the angle of two 3D planes sharing the above extracted side information and when this angle is equal with or smaller than a predesignated angle, the relevant side is highlighted in the 3D shape model and displayed.
