A method for transmitting cell search signals and a cell searching method using the same are provided to perform cell search more simply and efficiently by performing the transmission of different weights in addition to transmitting the combination of different kinds of codes. A method for transmitting cell search signals comprises the following steps of: selecting at least one code in a first code set(31-1); selecting at least one code in a second code set(31-2); combining the selected codes and configuring preamble which is transmitted before the transmission of a control signal and a data signal; and transmitting the configured preamble(33).
