PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet cartridge capable of suppressing an influence of vibration to a recording element substrate when manufacturing a lid and welding it to an ink tank by vibration in a short time, and a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: In the inkjet cartridge in which the lid 101 for closing an opening of the cartridge 100 is welded by vibration after inserting an ink absorbing body 104 into the cartridge 100 provided with the recording element substrate 108, ribs 109 penetrating into the ink absorbing body 104 are arranged in the lid 101.
