An apparatus and a method for manufacturing an optical sheet are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by improving yield and handling in manufacturing an optical sheet having a minute pattern. An apparatus for manufacturing an optical sheet includes a first roll(120), a second roll(150), two or more guide rolls(130a-130e), an injection unit(160) of coating liquid, a pattern molding part, a master roll(144), a patter guide roll, and a pre-coating device. A base film is wound in the first roll. A base film in which coating liquid is coated is wound in the second roll. Two or more guide rolls are included between the first roll and the second roll, and transfers the base film. The injection unit of the coating liquid injects the coating liquid into the base film. The patter molding part is engaged with one of the guide rolls. The master roll compresses the injected coating liquid to a mold. The pattern guide roll transfers the mold. The pre-coating device fills the coating liquid inside a pattern of the mold.
