An apparatus for loading a battery for a bus is provided to allow the battery to roll according to the weight of the battery to be loaded into a battery room by using a roller arranged being tilted. An apparatus for loading a battery for a bus includes a lower frame(1), a base plate(3), a rotating wheel(5), a vertically moving cylinder(7), a shutoff valve(9), a vertically moving plate(13), a roller bracket(15), a roller(R), a guide beam(19), a stopper, a position sensor(S), and a warning lamp(33). The base plate is located on the lower frame. The rotating wheel is attached to the bottom of each corner of the lower frame. The shutoff valve provides operating pressure to the cylinder. The stopper prevents a battery from being separated from the roller. The position sensor senses a battery loading position in a bus and outputs a signal to a controller(31). The warning lamp is turned on according to a control signal of the controller.
