PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use air flowing in a branch pipe branching from an air supply pipe.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell stack 10 for generating power by using hydrogen gas and oxygen gas in the air; an air supply pipe 41 connected to an inlet of an air passage in the fuel cell stack; a turbo compressor 44 that is disposed in the air supply pipe and pneumatically sends air; a cathode off-gas pipe 46 connected to an outlet of the air passage; a cathode off-gas control valve 48 that is disposed in the cathode off-gas pipe and controls pressure in the air passage; a branch pipe 75 branching from the air supply pipe's position downstream from the turbo compressor; branch flow control valves 71, 47 for controlling a flow rate of air flowing from the air supply pipe into the fuel cell stack and a flow rate of air flowing into the branch pipe; an oxygen enrichment device 70 that is disposed in the branch pipe and generates oxygen enriched air having a high oxygen concentration from air flowing into the branch pipe; and a supply device 73 for supplying the oxygen enriched air to the air supply pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
