PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery favorable in charge/discharge cycle characteristics and low in internal resistance.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 100 includes a positive electrode 155, a negative electrode 156 and a nonaqueous electrolyte 140 containing a compound having a fluorine element. The positive electrode 155 includes a positive electrode active material 11 having an operation upper limit potential of 4.35 V or more in terms of metallic lithium and a protective film 17 covering the surface of the positive electrode active material 11. The protective film 17 contains a fluorine element and a phosphorus element, as coating components. The thickness of the protective film 17 is within a range of 6 nm or more and 15 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
