PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample clock generation device for an optical tomographic image device capable of multiplying a frequency of a sample clock signal, and an optical tomographic image device.SOLUTION: A sample clock generation device for an optical tomographic image device comprises: a first optical path 121 and a second optical path 131 through which input light is guided; an optical phase shifter 124 which shifts the phase of the input light guided through the first optical path 121; an interference light generating unit 141 which combines the phase-shifted input light and the input light guided through the second optical path 131 to generate interference light for a sample clock; a splitting unit 151 which splits the interference light for the sample clock into two split light beams having a different phase; one light receiving unit 161V which receives at least one split light beam of the two split light beams having a different phase; the other light receiving unit 161H which receives at least the other split light beam; and a signal generating unit which generates a sample clock signal on the basis of the signals output from the one light receiving unit 161V and the other light receiving unit 161H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
