PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device and vehicle that ensure reliability of an inverter.SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: a PWM drive circuit 110 for outputting a gate drive signal; and a protection circuit that detects current flowing in second terminals of a first switch Su and second switch Sx, applies a gate drive signal at a first level to the first switch Su when the first switch Su's gate drive signal is at the first level, the second switch Sx's gate drive signal is at a second level, and a current flowing in the second terminal of the second switch Sx is determined to be lower than a predetermined value by current detection circuits IH, IL, and applies a gate drive signal at the first level to a drive terminal of the second switch Sx when the second switch Sx's gate drive signal is at the first level, the first switch Su's gate drive signal is at the second level, and a current flowing in the second terminal of the first switch Su is determined to be lower than the predetermined value by the current detection circuits IH, IL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
