PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knocking signal analysis method and a knocking signal analysis device capable of suppressing degradation of knocking detection accuracy even when a state change of an internal combustion engine occurs.SOLUTION: In a knocking signal analysis processing executed by an ignition timing adjustment device 43 of an ignition timing control device 31, each of strengths of a plurality of frequency components on digital data of a knocking signal is calculated as an analysis value (first analysis value An1-fifth analysis value An5), and strength St including strength square sum obtained by totaling squared values of the analysis value is calculated (S160-S190, S200-S250). In a knocking determination step (S260), presence or absence of knocking in the internal combustion engine 1 is determined on the basis of the strength St. In the ignition timing adjustment device 43, the knocking can be determined on the basis of a change state of wider frequency band in comparison with a case when the knocking is determined on the basis of the analysis value in a single frequency component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
