The present invention may include an ultrasound probe, an ultrasound imaging apparatus, and a controlling method thereof. The ultrasound probe according to an aspect of the present invention may include an optical resonance waveguide which receives an echo ultrasound wave signal; a calculation part which calculates an acoustic pressure based on a change in the wavelength of an optical signal traveling within the optical resonance waveguide, wherein the change is generated in response to the reception of the echo ultrasound wave signal; and a conversion part which converts the echo ultrasound signal to an electric signal based on the calculated acoustic pressure. So, the ultrasound imaging apparatus can provide an ultrasound wave image to a user.
