[Problem] To provide a dispersion that blends titanium oxide at high concentrations and has excellent storage stability. [Solution] A dispersion having titanium oxide particles dispersed in an oil-based medium and containing a C18 or higher ester oil and polyhydroxystearic acid. The dispersion is characterized by: the titanium oxide particles being organically surface-coated by an organic silicon compound; the titanium oxide particles being at least 50.0 wt% of the total dispersion weight; and the amount of polyhydroxystearic acid being 0.5-8.0 wt% of the total dispersion weight.
