A positive electrode of a lithium secondary battery according to the present invention is provided with an insulating tape that covers a welded part of a positive electrode tab and a positive electrode collector exposed surface. The insulating tape has a multilayer structure that is composed of an organic material layer, a composite material layer which is formed of an organic material and an inorganic material, and an adhesive layer. The inorganic material in the composite material layer accounts for 20% or more of the weight of the composite material layer.
