PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that can achieve energy saving and silencing.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises a control device including a CPU 101 for controlling operation in the refrigerator. A normal operation mode and a silent operation mode are provided as an operation mode in the control device. The CPU 101 of the control device includes a timing determination part 201 for determining timing for starting the silent operation mode, and a control content determination part 204 for determining the content of the control in the silent operation mode, and starts control to make operation sound smaller than that in the normal operation mode when determined to be in a start timing of the silent operation mode. |
