PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have good ink absorptiveness and resolution; moreover, have superior water resistance by providing an ink acceptable layer formed with organic fine particles and a cationic polymer having a cross-linking group. SOLUTION: The ink acceptable layer is formed by coating on the base material a cationic polymer having inorganic fine particles and a cross-linking group and dispersant liquid containing a hydrophilic polymer and various kinds of additives or the like such as other resin. In the inorganic fine particles, fine particles of an inorganic oxide such as alumina and silica are contained, and fine particles of an alumina hydrate are preferable in these particles. Also, a cationic polymer having a cross-linking group can be composed of the polymer of a monomer containing at least a cationic monomer and cross-linking monomer and the polymer of a monomer containing at least a cationic monomer, a cross-linking monomer, and a hydrophilic monomer. This leads to excellent ink absorptiveness and a fixing property, high image density and resolution, and remarkably superior water resistance. |
