The invention relates to a branching device for a data bus. The inventive branching device comprises an interface converter, a transmitter and a receiver station and one or more terminating resistors that are configured in such a way that data terminals can be coupled to or decoupled from the branch lines during operation of the data bus. The inventive branching device can be advantageously used to control a plurality of developer stations of a printing device that are selectively connected or disconnected during operation of the printing device. |
