PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input/output method using a dot code which can be read by utilizing image identification.SOLUTION: A data input/output method using a dot code includes forming at least one dot code corresponding to indicator data on an object surface. The dot code is formed from a plurality of blocks, and each block has a bit point. Each block is divided into a plurality of bit areas which are arranged in accordance with an array system, and partial bit areas arrayed in a crossing shape constitute a label area. Bit dots constituting data information of each dot code are installed within the other bit area than the label area in the block. Bit dots constituting label information of each dot code are installed within the bit area inside of the label area of the block. The data input/output method also includes optically reading the object surface and acquiring the indicator data corresponding to the dot code. |
