PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin-finishing method for a grinding stone in a screw grinder and a measuring device for spin finishing that can precisely perform spin finishing of a grinding stone with simple measuring work.SOLUTION: In a screw grinder that inclines a rotor shaft line T of a griding stone shaft 51 toward a shaft line S of a main shaft 1 to grind a screw groove inside a work, a spin-finishing master 3 having a cylindrical outer periphery 3A as a spin finishing reference is installed in the main shaft 1; a measuring unit 10 holding two measuring instruments 20A and 20B is installed in the spin finishing master 3 so as to bring measuring elements 22 into contact with two upper and lower apexes of the griding stone 52; the measuring elements 22 are brought into contact with the cylindrical outer periphery of the spin-finishing master to decide original positions of the two measuring instruments 20A and 20B; and the measuring unit 10 is moved in the shaft direction on the spin-finishing master 3 to bring the measuring elements 22 of the two measuring instruments 20A and 20B into contact with the two upper and lower apexes respectively, and the position of the griding stone shaft 51 is adjusted so that measured values by the two measuring instruments 20A and 20B are equal to each other. |
