PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a ring-shaped strip to the inner surface in the radial direction of a tire.SOLUTION: A method for mounting a ring-shaped strip to the inner surface in the radial direction of a tire includes the steps of: preparing a plurality of segments which are arranged around a central axis and movable between a radial contraction position and a radial expansion position and have an outer surface supporting at least a part of a ring-shaped strip; preparing a plurality of fingers which are provided in an area between adjacent segments, extend in a direction parallel to the axis, and are movable between a radial inside position and a radial outside direction; arranging the ring-shaped strip around the outer surfaces in the radial direction of the segments; arranging the excess length parts of the ring-shaped strip around the inner surfaces in the radial direction of the fingers; inserting the plurality of fingers and the plurality of segments supporting the ring-shaped strip into the rim diameter of a tire; expanding the segments radially outward; and pressing the ring-shaped strip to the inner surface of the tire by the segments. |
