PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mischarge of ink cartridges between different apparatuses without a mold for forming an enclosure case or the like of the ink cartridge being greatly changed. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 5A set detachably to a printer 1A is stored in a storage chamber 48A of a body of the printer 1A. A projection 51A projecting into the storage chamber 48A is formed at the storage chamber 48A. Moreover, an escape part 53A extending in an insertion and removal direction of the ink cartridge is formed at the side of the ink cartridge 5A. When the ink cartridge 5A is set in the storage chamber 48A, the projection 51A moves inside the escape part 53A. A projection corresponding to the projection 51A, and an escape part corresponding to the escape part 53A are formed in a printer different from the printer 1A. The positions do not agree with those of the projection 51A and escape part 53A. The printers are thus prevented from being set with each other's ink cartridges. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
