PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system for enhancing the crime-prevention performance against a suspicious indivisual such as a thief illegally intruded into a multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: When a person P2 going to go out from inside of the multiple dwelling house approaches an automatic door 5 and is sensed by a human body sensor 7, a supervisory camera 2 images a person supervisory video image in interlocking with the opening of the automatic door under the control of an automatic door driver 6, and the person supervisory video image can be stored to a video recording apparatus 3 under the control of a controller 8. Further, when a resident for confirming a call from a visitor P1 for making a call operation at a multiple entrance unit 1 operates a camera selection button 43 of living room master units 4a, 4b or the like, the angle of the supervisory camera is temporarily directed toward the visitor under the control of the controller, the visitor video image imaged by the supervisory camera can be not only displayed on a monitor 40 of the living room master unit but also stored in the video recording apparatus under the control of the controller.
