摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network apparatus capable of efficiently using an internal bus and communicating without being brought into a deadlock state. SOLUTION: PHYICs 13a, 13b, 13c set a communication mode in each of network ports 101, 102, 103 at a low speed mode. A bus 156 transfers data to be received in the each of the network ports 101, 102, 103. When receiving the data at the network port 101, a CPU 14 judges whether the priority allocated to the network port 101 having received the data should be increased or not. The PHYIC 13a keeps the communication mode in the network port 101 for receiving the data at a low speed mode if the CPU 14 judges that the priority should not be increased, and switches the communication mode to a high speed mode in the network port 101 for receiving the data if the CPU 14 judges that the priority should be increased.
