Provided is an electrode active material for a secondary battery, which has positive temperature coefficient characteristics, and shows improved initial resistance and interparticle binding resistance. The electrode active material for a secondary battery comprises the steps of: mixing(S100) an electrode active material for a secondary battery with a positive temperature coefficient(PTC) material; introducing(S110) the resultant mixture into a mold, and heating and pressing(S120) the mixture; and removing(S130) the mold and milling(S150) the solidified product into powder. The pressing step is carried out at a temperature of 80-250 deg.C under a pressure of 100-200 kg/m^2. |
