A driving apparatus for a plasma display panel is provided to reduce a cost for manufacturing a driving circuit and to enhance productivity of an AC type plasma display panel by maintaining a Z-electrode in a ground voltage level. A driving apparatus for a plasma display panel includes scan/sustain electrodes, sustain electrodes, address electrodes, and a panel connected with the electrodes. The driving apparatus includes a mechanism heat-radiating plate(100) and at least one connector(200). The mechanism heat-radiating plate is used for radiating the heat from the panel and a ground voltage level. The connector is used for connecting the ground voltage level of the mechanism heat-radiating plate with the panel. The ground voltage level is maintained in a sustain electrode. The mechanism heat-radiating plate includes a conductive material.
