<p>Headbox for cardboard- and papermaking machines has baffle (22) at the outlet end of the lower lip (24) of the nozzle. The upper lip (26) has an inwardly-projecting tip (34). An independent claim is included for a double layer headbox with a nozzle divided longitudinally by a central partition and with baffle fitted on each of its lips.</p>
