PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily perform version control to a file of a file version control server. SOLUTION: When receiving file transmission instructions from the user, this file transmission device requests check-out to the file version control server and makes updatable a stored file indicated to transmission destination information without interposing of the user.
