PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle capable of surely connecting a pin to a terminal and preventing the pin from falling off.SOLUTION: A receptacle 16 includes: a receptacle body 41 in which a pin mounting opening is provided on a front face thereof; and an insertion groove 49 is provided from a tip surface perpendicular to the front face to the pin mounting opening on the front face. The pin 28 of a straight-tube lamp is inserted from the insertion groove 49 of the tip surface of the receptacle body 41 into the pin mounting opening and a shaft part 29 of the pin 28 is inserted from the insertion groove 49 on the front face of the receptacle body 41 into the pin mounting opening, and the pin 28 is rotated with the tube axis of the straight-tube lamp as a center to mount the lamp to the receptacle 16. The receptacle 16 allows rotation of the pin 28 the shaft part 29 of which is inserted in the pin mounting opening of the receptacle body 41, and includes a rotation regulating part 71 for regulating rotation of the pin 28 positioned in the insertion groove 49 before the shaft part 29 is inserted in the pin mounting opening of the receptacle body 41.
