PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus of a structure that cannot remove a lamp mounted in an apparatus main body carelessly to prevent attaching a lamp inappropriately to the apparatus main body.SOLUTION: A lighting apparatus comprises an apparatus main body 2 mounting a lamp 1 as a light source, and a lamp holder 3 controlling dismount of the lamp 1 from the apparatus main body 2. The lamp holder 3 has a control unit 31 limiting moving range of the lamp 1, and a nonreturn locking unit 32 locking for nonreturn to the apparatus main body 2. The apparatus main body 2 has a locked unit 23 locking the nonreturn locking unit 32.
