PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for illumination which can efficiently radiate heat produced in an LED module.SOLUTION: A light source for illumination comprises: an LED module 20; a support base 30 for supporting the LED module 20; and a heat sink 60 surrounding a lighting circuit 40 for turning on the LED module 20. The support base 30 is fitted into and connected to the heat sink 60. Each of the support base 30 and the heat sink 60 has a taper part having a predetermined taper angle in the fitted-into part, and if the taper angle of the heat sink 60 is a° and the taper angle of the support base 30 is b°, a relational expression of a>b is satisfied. |
