摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which suppresses at least either of an increase of a NOx discharge amount and an increase of a torque variation even in a situation that a relationship between a crank angle period and an air-fuel ratio is varied with respect to a relationship under a reference combustion condition in the case that a control constitution is employed which adjusts at least either of the a fuel injection amount and a suction air amount so that a crank angle period which is calculated during a lean combustion operation approximates a target crank angle period.SOLUTION: A calculation SA-CA10 is performed by using a crank angle sensor 42 and an in-cylinder pressure sensor 30. A feedback control of a fuel injection amount is performed so that the calculation SA-CA10 approximates a target SA-CA10 during a lean combustion operation. In a situation that the feedback control is performed, when an air-fuel ratio which is detected by an air-fuel ratio sensor 32 is deviated from an air-fuel ratio range R1, the target SA-CA10 is corrected, and the deviation of the air-fuel ratio from the air-fuel ratio range R1 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
