PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition containing ascorbic acid ester or a salt thereof in which the discoloration of a formulation is prevented and at the same time antiseptic power is excellent, and to provide a method of preventing the discoloration of the oral composition.SOLUTION: The invention provides: an oral composition containing (A) 0.1-1 mass% of ascorbic acid phosphoric ester or a salt thereof, (B) 0.01-1 mass% of a p-hydroxybenzoate, and (C) 0.01-0.1 mass% of epsilon aminocaproic acid; and a method of preventing the discoloration of the oral composition by compounding the component (C) into the oral composition containing the component (A) and the component (B) to prevent the discoloration by the combined use of the components (A) and (B).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
