The invention relates to a bottom structure (7) for a milk receiver (1) to which vacuum from a vacuum supply (5, 6) draws milk from the teats of an animal, wherein the bottom structure (7) comprises an agitation device for stirring of milk in the milk receiver (1). The agitation device comprises an agitation member (14) mounted to the bottom structure (7) in such a way that when the bottom structure (7) is mounted to the milk receiver (1 ), the agitation member (14) will be arranged on the inside of the milk receiver (1 ), an actuator (16) mounted to the bottom structure (7) in such a way that when the bottom structure (7) is mounted to the milk receiver (1), the actuator (16) will be arranged outside of the milk receiver (1), and a movement transmission mechanism (15) configured to transfer movements from the actuator (16) to the agitation member (14). The actuator (16) and the movement transmission mechanism (15) together provide a reciprocating swinging movement of the agitation member (14) in the milk receiver (1). |
