PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument capable of firmly fixing a fracture region in the vicinity of a bone head in addition to smooth bone agglutination in an area in which part of a rear wall or a side wall is separated, at an end on the bone head side of a bone.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument 100 is used for fracture treatment in the vicinity of a bone head 502 of a bone such as a thighbone 500 including the bone head. The surgical instrument includes: an intramedullary nail 101 that is long, is used by being inserted into a medullary cavity of the thighbone, includes an axial hole 121 opening at at least one end in the axial direction, and includes a female thread 122 formed on an inner wall of one end part of the axial hole; a contact plate 301 including a main body part to be made to contact with the thighbone and a connection part that is connected to one end of the main body part and has a through hole; and a fastener 401 that includes a screw part (insertion part) and fixes the contact plate to the intramedullary nail by screwing a male thread on the screw part to the female thread 122 through the through hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
