PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of preventing occurrence of a problem in welding blades of a closed type centrifugal impeller molded with a thermoplastic resin, and a shroud plate, securing airtightness among the blades, and improving efficiency of the electric blower, and to provide a vacuum cleaner equipped with the electric blower using the blower.SOLUTION: A fan casing including a centrifugal impeller composed of a plurality of blades is disposed between a shroud plate having a suction opening and a hub plate, the shroud plate has an annular portion on the suction opening portion, a curved portion is disposed in a state of being smoothly connected to the annular portion, recessed grooves are formed on positions corresponding to the blades of the centrifugal impeller from the curved portion toward an outer diameter, the blades of the centrifugal impeller are molded integrally with the hub plate, faces opposed to the curved portion of the shroud plate, of the blades are inclined to be closely kept into contact with the curved portion of the shroud plate, and the shroud plate and the blades are integrated by welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
