Provided is an information display terminal that can be mounted to a user's head, wherein the information display terminal has a display unit that is disposed in front of the user's eyes when the terminal is mounted to the user's head, and the display unit displays information by changing at least either the luminance or the hue of the information, in accordance with the detected circumstances of the environment surrounding the information display terminal, to thereby enhance the visibility of the information displayed by the display unit.
