Disclosed are a battery assembly and an electronic device using the battery. The battery assembly comprises a housing, a battery cell and a tab plate disposed inside the housing, and an electrical connector. The battery cell further comprises a tab, the tab is electrically connected to the tab plate, and the electrical connector is electrically connected to the tab. The tab plate is disposed separately from the housing, so that even if a vibration of the battery assembly occurs during a usage process, the tab plate is not subjected to a force, and the tab is not transformed or fractured, thereby ensuring the usage safety of a battery assembly and an electronic device using the battery assembly.
