the locking device has a two-part sleeve housing (2) with metal cylinder housing (5) containing a plastics rotatable cylinder core (6) which at its end side (9) facing the key insert side (8) is connected rotationally secured to a metal cylinder head (10). The cylinder head has on the side facing the core a collar (12) mounted in a recess (13) formed on one side by a circumferential L-shaped ring collar (14) of the cylinder core and on the other side by the upper part (4) of the sleeve housing so that the cylinder head is secured against being extracted.
