PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for monitoring tire condition, for saving the time where all of the transmitters disposed to tires are recognized, and for simplifying structure of the device, compared with the related art. SOLUTION: An FL transmitter, an FR transmitter, an RL transmitter, and an RR transmitter are respectively installed to the tires of a left front wheel, a right front wheel, a left rear wheel, a right rear wheel. An FL receiver, an FR receiver, an RL receiver, and an RR receiver are respectively disposed in each wheel house of an automobile, so as to correspond to the respective transmitter. An ECU connected with each transmitter through signal lines is disposed in a vehicle. For example, when the control ECU recognizes the FL transmitter, receiving sensitivity of the FL receiver is lowered in advance.
