The water tank at a power station, and especially a nuclear power station, has a spray into it containing a catalyst which converts and gas within the water i.e. hydrogen and oxygen. The catalyst contains at least one noble metal, as a solid sheet plate or wire netting structure, which can be coated with an active catalyst in at least one module (2) near a distributor (10) under a spray unit (1). The spray unit has a cylindrical symmetry, with the distributor at the cylinder mantle. An axial pipe (3) extends radially between a cylinder axis (4) and the catalyst. |
